Criss is a single mother of two teens and a 11-year breast cancer survivor (since July 2007). She is a certified, accredited Bra Fitter and has earned many CME accredited Breast Cancer Management Certifications (est. 50 hours) from Columbia U College of Physicians and Surgeons, Essentially Women and Anita Breast Care with ABC/BOC organizations. CRISSCROSS Intimates received 3 ISO award-winning Accreditation Certificates by ABAC (American Board of Accreditation Certificates) plus the first Honorary award recognition – the FABC for the Fight Against Breast Cancer. She has received a Certificate of Honour by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons–Patients of Courage: Triumph over Adversity Award, FUZE Beverages: Hero of Hope Award and Honorary Award for Top 100 Fundraiser and Leadership at Susan G. Komen, North Jersey Affiliate.
Criss served on the Board of Trustees: Susan G. Komen NJ Affiliate during her recovery, produced award-winning PSAs and appeared in a few NY DMA TV commercials. She Co-Chaired their Pink Tie Gala event, has participated on their Speaker’s Bureau and continues to volunteer and work fundraisers. As a Survivor while at Komen, she became one of the top 100 fundraisers and also helped raise over $15M in revenues during her tenure there, and donated and produced over $1M in cable TV PSA ad campaigns with top celebs. She enjoys writing about Breast Cancer research, advanced technologies and solutions to support the many women and men undergoing treatment. Criss is a big advocate of philanthropic charities, women leadership, entrepreneur and start-up companies nationwide.
