An Immersive Cause For Good with CRISSCROSS Intimates

In our recent blog post, we explored the transformative shift from the conventional Showroom experience to the innovative Homeroom concept, made possible by the integration of digital AI fashion. Today, I'm excited to delve deeper into our journey at CRISSCROSS Intimates and shed light on what truly fuels my passion: the Immersive Cause for Good. This profound commitment guides our every step in the world of fashion and digital technology, inspiring positive change and redefining the fashion landscape as I know it.

A few years back, my initial AI encounter involved testing garments while looking in the mirror.  One could virtually try-on products without changing clothes. Style products together across multiple brands and purchase on the spot for delivery to anywhere in the world. Turning any location into a futuristic retail experience brings interactive retail experiences to customers in new and exciting spaces using Augmented Reality retail technology to power virtual try-ons everywhere people are.

While this approach may work well in certain retail and hospitality industries, it did not serve as well for intimates. Whether you need a quick wardrobe and decide to procure garments while traveling, the process is easy. Simply look in your home or hotel mirror, select the garments you’d like to wear, order the items from the app in the mirror, and have them delivered direct to your doorsteps.

Now, I was never comfortable with this type of mirror over the bathroom sink. And yes, I actually stayed at a hotel once where they had one, and it gave me a creepy feeling like I was being watched 24/7, but, anyway, you get the picture. So instead, perhaps, you walk into a retail storefront, and use the mirror like a kiosk and it directs you to go somewhere, or to select products in the mirror for purchase as a consumer.  With home design, it’s also a great tool to use in the Showroom with customers. In all these instances, this form of augmented reality works well serving as a digital concierge or for specific user experiences with specific types of apparel or product inquiries but it did not work well with undergarments based on style, fit and user needs. 

So, I went back to the drawing board and chose not to invest in this technology and immersed myself in the study of AI tools instead. This enabled me to adapt to new emerging consumer behaviors, and to grasp the underlying needs of both consumers and brands. As an innovator of an intimate apparel brand, this shift necessitates adjustments and changes to my thinking, strategy, sourcing, production, and distribution—albeit not revolutionary ones but still adaptations just the same. Next, I explored technology for machine learning tools that would showcase products and allow brands to customize a site, fostering a thriving community that encourages growth and collaboration. However, this company’s application was still in development and not moving along as quickly as desired.

I was convinced that reimagining aspects of brand influence can ultimately streamline processes in the long term. In this swiftly evolving landscape, characterized by uncharted territories, there is no single correct path to success; however, involvement from the very beginning is paramount. I have embraced AI and embarked on a journey of growth and transformation as a changemaker.

By recently participating in a beta team dedicated to mastering AI development tools, I've honed the understanding of AI skills required to globally introduce an intimate apparel product in the marketplace. Additionally, I've conceptualized an immersive application that grants consumers a 360-degree view for intimates, facilitating an assessment of its style and fit. Expanding upon this, I'm now exploring ways to test an immersive app under development with different body types, encompassing color and size with avatars and 3D modeling, as example.

This innovation will empower consumers to discern what suits them best, all from the comfort of their homes, using a straightforward mobile app.

This type of AI tool has the potential to revolutionize bra fit consultations, negating the need for in-store showrooms and transitioning the experience to one's personal space. Overall, it provides consumers with a plethora of options to procure items in a private and personalized manner. Enhancing the user experience by ensuring styles, sizes, designs, colors, and all conceivable choices are readily accessible remains a cornerstone when designing and developing AI tools.

My aspiration is to extend a new means of shopping to breast cancer survivors, individuals with disabilities, and active enthusiasts, offering them a modern method for acquiring intimate apparel through efficient drop shipments to support a global immersive cause for good. In certain instances, this approach may even outshine the traditional brick-and-mortar or e-commerce outlets or link to them.

As we embrace the advent of new technologies, applications, trends, and the Web3 landscape, let us stay attuned to evolving consumer behaviors, product styling preferences, and purchasing habits. This is an endeavor to which I am wholeheartedly committed, leveraging my profound expertise in global media and technology to usher in exemplary design coupled with cutting-edge technology.

So, instead of gazing into the rearview mirror, or the AI-based digital mirror, let us gaze from the comfort of our homes or wherever our journeys may lead us. Let us navigate the nuances of luxury fashion using digital AI, emerging technologies, and trends. It is individuals like you who will sculpt the future, dictating what customers yearn to wear, how products are introduced to the market, and how we can deliver top-tier styles right to your doorstep. Post-operative undergarments, adaptive clothing, athleisure wear, medical attire, women's and men's clothing just the same.
