Dreams do come true. I was so delighted to be invited to this year’s 12th Annual La Jolla International Fashion Film Festival two-day program. It was like a reunion amongst many attendees, post-COVID. Even though I did not attend prior award ceremonies, there was a lot of mingling, fun and frolic amongst this elite and talented group of creative artists of international communities from afar. I was honored to be a guest, invited on the Red Carpet and to participate at this year’s festival.

Jean Criss is Founder and CEO of Jean Criss Media (a creative services media agency) and CRISSCROSS Intimates (a luxe post-surgical, adaptive and activewear intimate apparel brand). As entrepreneur, media producer and fashion designer, I connected with many colleagues and solopreneurs with similar backgrounds, multi-tasking their way to success and fulfilling their dreams.
As a little girl, I’ve always had a passion for fashion and an interest in innovation and tech. After being laid off from the corporate workplace in 2011, I found my niche dual-tasking my way through creative media offering experiential solutions to companies while simultaneously making the world a better place for cancer survivors with contemporary designs. My two worlds have since merged with fashion and film, and while I enjoy media, writing, fashion design and innovating, I am presently seeking funding to expand.
