Hey Survivors! Kick Up Your Heels & Tatas! – CROSSCROSS Intimates is Coming to Nashville and New York City! By Jean Criss
I always dreamed of going to the Grande Ole Opry, seeing the city lights of Downtown Nashville and visiting the mecca of the famous Country Music Hall of Fame. In just a shy two weeks, I will be one of hundreds of Survivors attending a national convention with women from around the world in Nashville, Tennessee, July 20 – 22, 2017. No stone gone unturned – You will find me mingling with sister Survivors, premiering my new collection CRISSCROSS Intimates at NOU-Life Expo during SURVIVORville. You might even hear a glimpse of My 2nd Act story at the Millenium Hotel (Maxwell’s Lounge), and perhaps see me LIVE, on the newly announced Tennessee-based TV affiliate - New Focus Network (NFN) where they recently launched a new TV show called Living Spirit created for inspiring stories. There won't be much time for pink cocktails. Following this exciting trip, we shift gears and press that reset button because two weeks later we say, “Hello to the BIG Apple!”
Yes, we hit my home town back at the Javits Center, New York City, August 6 – 8, 2017 at CURVE Mode Lingerie and Swim Show. Only this time, I personally won’t be writing about other brands as I have these past few years, walking the show floors. Rather I will be hosting my own Exhibition with my new fashionista line and team. It's all about introducing the entire collection, exciting venues, planning for these special events, merchandising, production and so much more!
In NYC we will introduce CRISSCROSS Intimates to thousands of buyers from around the world from small to big retailers. I can only hope to catch a glimmer of their eye with my bold colorful collection using emerging textiles and revolutionary design.
I can’t wait to share my story with buyers, designers and fashion colleagues - it is a dream come true. Post-op breast-care patients never knew they could be so comfortable wearing these fashionable undergarments Day one and throughout their recovery. I know that I waited a very long time for intimates like this while recovering for four long years and the day is finally here to make this a better place for all Survivors – women and men of all ages, because men too get breast cancer and have breast surgery.
