Pink It UP!
This past week has been full of pinks, pastels and a passion to find a cure. I participated in half dozen events and now can kick-up my feet for a night to find some rest and relaxation. Some of the event highlights are described below;
October 17, 2019. Breast Reconstruction Day also known as BRA Day in NYC - a Bra Decorating contest with gorgeous Bras made by Survivors and Physicians alike. Top prizes were awarded to the Top 3 Designs.
A raffle of various high-end gifts were also extended by the Sponsors. CRISSCROSS Intimates donated The Nina Bra and Panty Set, My Pain Woke Me Up: BLISS! - Jean Criss survivor story, and a lovely green chiffon scarf designed by the late Taylor Matthew from Conquering For Kidz cancer foundation - total gift was valued at $300 to the top winner. Below features some of the other highlights from the event.
The attention to detail many expressed in their designs shows the passion and perseverance to find a cure! An impeccable intimate setting - you’d never know you were in a physician’s office that evening - the staff really went all out and welcomed the sponsors including CRISSCROSS Intimates, Ana Ona, Smashbox, Resonate and others. I was so impressed with the attention to detail from the entire staff - no stone unturned - BRAVO and Thank You!
October 16, 2019. A World of Pink annual Gala & Fashion Show in Smithtown, NY Survivor Models walked the runway with their Surgeons and NFL celebs. Gowns were loaned by a local merchant and they all looked lovely. Over 100 Survivors from the community were invited as guests at this third annual event. Featured below is one of our Crisscross Lace Back Pink Bras on display with new healthcare client Christine Guarino of A World of Pink.
An evening of Pink fun and a flair throughout the night - from local cheerleaders to the local pooch in red walking the runway to an opening break-dance with NFL celeb Erik Coleman, and fundraising between models, not a beat was missed with music, laughter and pink lights.
October 19, 2019. Our next event Survivors got up early to learn about new health and wellness advancements at the SaSS Foundation annual Breast and Ovarian Conference & Expo in Uniondale, NY. Over 600 in attendance - women and men of all ages with surgeons walked the exhibits and became educated throughout the morning.
There were many other events scheduled that week and yet the most meaningful is that we continue to pay it forward with our award-winning contemporary designs to rock your world as a BC Survivor. Comfortable, colorful, soft fabrics, criss-cross wrap designs — all made with YOU in mind. So next time you think PINK, shop CRISSCROSS Intimates. Also found on Amazon.
